If you're looking a factory-modded version of a classic T-style guitar designed by the great Leo Fender, here's this G&L ASAT Deluxe Classic Bluesboy! This Blueburst guitar has a powerful and versatile pickup combination, time-honored hardware, and solid tonewood construction and tone for great tones.  It's a winner in terms of playability, sound and vibe.

This instrument is from the personal collection of the late Brad Pie who played guitar in the 1990’s with the great Johnny Otis.  Along with Johnny’s sons - Shuggie Otis (Guitar) and Nicky Otis (Drums) - Brad contributed guitar to the 1992 Grammy-Nominated “Spirits of the Black Territory Bands” by the Johnny Otis & His Orchestra group.  Many of the instruments from Brad’s collection are uniquely modified and come with various customized accessories.

The guitar has been upgraded with custom knobs and a bullet switch tip.  The included original hardshell case also has a bonus - a really nice leather strap.

The G&L ASAT Deluxe Classic Bluesboy features the iconic single-cut T-style Swamp Ash body that Leo Fender revolutionized guitar building with. Its bolt-on hard rock maple neck comes with a comfy 9.5" radius and Caribbean rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets and dot inlays. The bone nut provides tuning stability and increased sustain. 

This G&L has a wide range of tones thanks to its pickup configuration. You get a G&L A2S4248N Alnico II magnet humbucker that provides thick, warm tones that are excellent for rhythm playing or riffs and works for clean or overdriven settings. The bridge has a single-coil G&L Magnetic Field Design bridge pickup designed by Leo Fender that provides a great balance of twangy and chimey tones. 

The hardware of this G&L ASAT Deluxe Bluesboy is the time-honored classic boxed-steel bridge with individual brass saddles which gives control of intonation refinement. You get solid 12:1 ratio sealed tuners for keeping in tune. There are some stylish player upgrades here with replaced switch tip and knobs. All in all this guitar is the last of Leo's creation and truly represents the genius of his innovative and revolutionary designs.

This instrument is in excellent condition and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.  It's ready to go!
