Fender Custom Shop 50's Telecaster Thinline NOS Seafoam Green With Tweed Case

We at Truetone Music always strive to bring you the classic, the unique and the best.  In our partnership with Fender, we often find ways to take classic models, make them unique, and alter the specs to make them the best of the best.  This Custom Shop 50's Tele Thinline nails that.

The Telecaster Thinline is typically seen as a late 60's or early 70's model.  For this one, we took it back to the 50's, then tweaked it further.  We chose to keep it NOS (New Old Stock), to offer up a guitar that came fresh out of the factory with no player wear or relic'ing at all.

The lightweight, alder body with an F hole has nitro lacquer finish, painted Seafoam Green, providing a vintage vibe.  Where this guitar really really stands out visually is the matching headstock. and white binding - it's a stunning look.  We chose a neck shape from the 60's, as it's the most popular Fender spec - the Mid 60's Oval "C".  The big tweak on the neck is the 12" radius, modernizing it a bit, along with the 6105 frets.  That makes it a breeze to play. 

We chose classic '63 Tele pickups give it the vintage sound that is beloved by Tele players everywhere.  The bridge pickup provides punchy mids and hot highs for that classic Tele twang, with staggered pole pieces to even out the inter-string response.  The neck neck pickup provides a warm and creamy tone.  

Additional features include a vintage Gatton Tele bridge with compensated brass saddles, and a 4-ply white pearl pickguard.  It's outfitted with a Custom Shop tweed case, and comes with the Certificate of Authenticity.
