Pre Owned 1969 Fender Vibrolux Reverb “Drip Ring” 2-Channel 40-Watt 2x10" Guitar Amp Combo
Do you want one of the most iconic Fender amps ever made? Here for you is this vintage Fender Vibrolux Reverb from 1969! Pure vintage, pure tone. Fan of the drip ring amps will feel their eyes widen at this one.
This is the original "Drip Ring" Silverface Vibrolux that features 40-watts of power pumping out 2x10" speakers. This amp gives you full, lush, sparkly, chimey cleans that vintage Fender amps are known for. If you can crank it you'll get glorious overdriven tones or if you need that at lower volumes put your favorite drive pedal in the front-end. As this is a "Drip-Ring" version you still get alot of the Blackface era electronics pre-Master Volume configuration and components. There is a reason why these are so revered. Their great tone and versatility have made the stage and studio mainstays.
This particular Vibrolux is in really good condition, especially for it's age. We all want to look this good when over 50 years old!
The amp has been vetted, works perfectly, and is ready for you. Interms of originality, the transformers, speakers, etc. are all original; the only parts replaced are capiciators and resistors. Also, the amp has a proper 3-prong power cable. We had our esteemed amp tech, the legendary Greg Leon, go through this one. Here are all of the notes:
- All Transformers are Original.
- All Filter Caps, Bypass Caps, Bias Caps, Bias Resistors Replaced
- Phase Inverter Resistors and Caps Replaced with Orange Drop Sprague Caps
- Treble Cap on Reverb Channel Replaced w/ upgrad 250pf Cap.
- Tone Caps on Reverb channel Replaced.
- Vibrato OSC CIRC has .022 Cap Replaced
- Bias Pot has the 15k to ground Resistor Replaced
- All Tubes tested to good working order
- Amp plays and sounds like it should
