Pre Owned 2004 Gibson Les Paul Studio Gloss Black With OHSC

If you want a great deal on a great American-made Gibson Les Paul, look no further than this Gibson Les Paul Studio in a gloss black finish from 2004.  This is a rocker guitar, for the those that want a classic model that can take a beating.  It's survived over 20 years on this planet, getting put to good use, and is ready to go another 20 rounds with whatever you throw at it.

The guitar features a solid single-cut mahogany body with a maple cap. So you get the snappiness of the top with excellent sustain and tone. It comes with a smooth-feeling mahogany neck with a modern "C" profile and a rosewood fingerboard adorned with parallelogram inlays. It has a 1 11/16" nut width, 24 3/4" scale and plays like a dream.

This guitar is packed with powerful humbuckers, a 490T in the bridge and 490R in the neck. These pickups deliver thick tones that pack a punch whether its clean or distorted settings. You can easily dial in your favorite sounds with individual pickup Volume and Tone controls with black speed knobs with a 3-way selector. This Gibson Les Paul Studio comes with striking gold hardware which includes stopbar tailpiece, tune-o-matic bridge, and pickup covers. You get nickel Grover tuners with large buttons for easy tuning. 

The original hardshell case is included.

Setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, this Les Paul Studio is ready to go.  It has definitely been utilized as intended for years, with honest player wear, however it's in fair condition.  The gloss finish has been worn in to a great patina.  The guitar had a headstock crack, repaired very well and definitely stable.  There are a lot of dings and marks - if you're looking for a clean, pristine piece, this is not it.  But if you're looking for one with some character, that's a great price ($699 for an American made Les Paul), then you've found it.
