Pre Owned 2006 Gibson Sheryl Crow Artist Series Acoustic Electric Antique Natural With OHSC

Here we have a guitar you don't see very often - the Gibson Sheryl Crow model. We just took this one, which is in excellent condition. It plays wonderfully after being setup by the techs in our shop, and is ready to go.
In 1999, Sheryl Crow approached Gibson Acoustic with her cherished 1962 Country Western, requesting an exact duplicate with contemporary features. Gibson responded by launching the Sheryl Crow Signature Artist Series—a meticulous reproduction of Crow's original instrument that also serves as a variant of Gibson's esteemed Hummingbird model. This 2006 edition should not be confused with the later 2012 Sheryl Crow Southern Jumbo or the 2019 Country & Western Supreme releases. Not very many of these were made, and can be hard to find.
This instrument echoes Gibson's J-45 slope-shoulder dreadnaught architecture but distinguishes itself with broader, square-shouldered accents on the upper bouts. Construction includes a solid Sitka spruce top in antique natural finish complemented by solid mahogany back and sides in heritage cherry. The 24-3/4" scale mahogany neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets and signature parallelogram inlays.
The guitar sounds large - it projects boldly, with a very evenly balanced response. Chords sound full, fingerpicking comes through with great articulation, and lead lines sing nicely. We also noticed that this has a relatively slim neck compared to other Gibson acoustics, so it's super comfortable to play.
Additional appointments include a black headstock overlay adorned with pearl Gibson crown inlay, individual covered nickel tuners with white buttons, and the distinctive Country & Western-style tortoise pickguard.
The original hardshell case is included. It appears that the guitar was barely played, as there is very little player wear on it, other than normal finish scratches. This one is a real gem!
