This one comes from 2008 and brings you everything want from the iconic year of 1958.  That's the year that the hula hoop came out and became a huge fad....which eventually passed....but the Les Paul continues to have staying power.  To this day, many guitarists find that the 1958 version is the most desirable. 

You get the time-honored single-cut slab mahogany body with a maple top. This combination gives you the best of the body's warmth with the snappiness of the top to give you the best tone possible with incredible sustain. This is not a weight-relieved model so you get the full weight and tones of this guitar legend. The set mahogany neck comes with a rosewood fingerboard with a smooth and comfortable "C" profile with a 12" radius. The Les Paul has a 24 3/4" scale length with a 1-11/16" nut width.  This is the classic feel.

With its set of Burstbucker humbucking pickups you get the best of its thick, rich, and dynamic tones. These pickups are perfect for any style of playing with any amp and settings. So whether you want pristine cleans or aggressive distortion these pickups provide a wide of range tones to enjoy. This Gibson Custom Shop reissue comes with period-correct hardware appointments to give you an authentic reissue of a Les Paul from 1958. You get the stopbar tailpiece, tune-o-matic bridge, amber control knobs, cream pickguard, pickup rings, switch cover, and aged switch tip. Stay in tune with Gibson deluxe tuners with traditional pearloid buttons.

All in all this is a magnificent historic reissue that's in excellent condition and comes with its original hardshell case.   Setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, this one is a winner - it's a great score.
