Pre Owned 2018 Fender Custom Shop '60 Jazz Bass Journeyman Olympic White With OHSC

We just took in an amazing Custom Shop piece: this Time Machine 1960 Jazz Bass that represents everything you'd ever want out of a vintage-styled bass (with a few modern tweaks).  It would be hard to find anything more classic and awesome to lay down the bottom end with.

Revolutionizing the world of rumble, the Jazz Bass directly evolved from the foundation the Precision Bass had established, with its offset body, narrow nut width and added neck pickup. The 1960 Journeyman Relic Jazz Bass brandishes time-correct features like concentric stacked control knobs, hand-wound vintage Jazz Bass® pickups designed with 2 pole pieces per string to provide a mellower “jazzy” tone, and signature Fender Custom Shop aged lacquer of a well-played classic rumble warrior.

The rock solid quartersawn maple neck has the period correct '60 U carve, providing that classic vintage feel.  It's topped with a rosewood fretboard with a 9.5" radius and Narrow Tall (6105) frets, adding a touch of modern playability.  It also features super cool clay inlays (be sure to check out the photos).  It sports an alder body that has been relic'ed, which looks great on the Aged Olympic White finish.  The tortoiseshell pickguard offsets it and adds a bit of color, making this one amazing looking bass.

We do a lot of Fender Custom Shop basses here at Truetone, and this is one of our favorites right now.  It's in excellent condition and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.  The original case is included, as is the strap, Certificate of Authenticity and other paperwork.  If you're in the market for a Custom Shop Jazz bass on a great deal, you've found it!
