The Schecter J-5 bass comes with a sleek contoured alder body with a lush seafoam green finish that really evokes vintage cool. The extra sturdy 5-bolt bolt-on maple neck comes with a super comfy thin "C" profile with 21 narrow extra jumbo frets, 16" radius and a 1.771" nut width. This Schecter J-5 features a 35" scale length which is perfect for those want a 5-string with a slightly smaller scale. The Ivory Tusq XL nut maintains tuning stability with good resonance.

The heart of this Schecter J-5 is its pair of Schecter USA MonsterTone J style Single-coil pickups. These pickups give you classic single-coil tones with articulation and thick tones that recalls Schecter's original late-1970s design. You get complete control over your tones with two Volume knobs and a Master Tone control. This bass has a tone trick up its sleeve with a push-pull tone knob for coil-tapping giving you access to a wide array of tones. you get super cool black hardware. The Schecter bridge is solid with top-load or string-thru body configurations, whichever you prefer.
