Pre Owned 2023 Taylor Builder's Edition 814ce Blacktop with OHSC

Finished with a stylish black finish for the top, this version of the ultra-refined Builder's Edition 814ce offers a striking visual flavor to complement its rich tone and seamless playability.  This was a new guitar brought to Truetone for a special Taylor event in 2023, sold, and is now back again.  The previous owner is a collector that keeps all of his gear in great shape in his climate controlled music room, so this one is virtually like new.  

This model features back and sides of solid Indian rosewood paired with an Adirondack spruce top, yielding commanding power, a lush overtone profile, clear trebles and warm lows. A chamfered body edges and a beveled armrest and cutaway, along with the easy-playing Taylor neck, provide unmatched playing comfort for every style even up to the highest part of the guitar's register.

The V-Class interior bracing dials up improved volume, sustain and harmony all the way up the neck. Along with the black top treatment, this model features a full-body gloss finish and a stunning Kona edgeburst for the back and sides.  It's quite the stunning guitar.

The guitar is loaded with Taylor's pickup/preamp system, so you'll be able to take this one out for live performances.

This Builder's Edition 814ce Blacktop was made as part of a special run so you won't see a lot of them out there, especially like this as this price.  It's in excellent condition and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.  The original hardshell case is included.
