Up for sale is this Alvarez Yairi FYM66HD OM, an absolute wunderkind of a guitar.  Made from old growth Honduran Mahogany tonewood, which has been carefully aged for 50 years in Kani, Japan, it has a magnificent voice.  We found it to be very warm with wonderfully strong mids and round, full highs that really sing.

OM guitars have become more and more popular over the years. Sonically they’re incredibly full and powerful guitars with huge, clear bass and mids. They’re almost intuitive in the way they respond, drawing the player in and then taking you away. You will lose yourself for hours playing one of these amazing instruments.

The guitar itself is very light in weight due to the quality of the wood and thin finish; you feel it resonating as it instantly responds to your requests. Its projection is open and its volume for an OM body size is exceptional. As a Yairi, its intonation is incredible and the all-round spec of the guitar is of the highest level with the Gotoh 510 tuners and ebony bridge, fingerboard and headstock veneer.

The Honduran Series models are some of the best guitars Alvarez-Yairi have ever made and offer incredible value for such highly specified, inspiring handmade instruments.

This guitar is in excellent condition and comes with its original hardshell case.  It appears that the previous owner barely played it, so there's hardly a scratch on it, with plenty of life in the frets, and no issues at all.  It has been vetted and setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.  This is one of the best sounding acoustic guitars we have here right now, especially in this price range.  A Yairi is a value, and this one is especially nice.  Grab it now before it's gone.
