Pre Owned Carr Artemus 112 Guitar Amp Combo Black

We have a great amp that's a bit of a rare animal: the Carr Artemus.  First released in 2010 to great fanfare and no longer offered, it's quite the find.  Hand-built in the USA, Carr Amps represent true boutique quality and reliability with an ultra cool vibe.

 

This is a 15/30-watt EL84 powered 1x12 combo that gives you that classic tone that is very much akin to the iconic Vox AC amps. What you get is an amp with intuitive controls such as a 2-Band EQ, Mid Toggle, Edge Toggle, and a 15/30 toggle.  All of this results in a really versatile amp.

 

The Edge toggle lets dial in more upper mids and top end to give more bite to your sound. The Mid Toggle lets you have more scooped mids for more of an American amp flavor, or you can keep the mids flat. With the 15/30 watt toggle you can switch between these two power settings making this amp perfect for any playing situation. Need more power you got it at the touch of a switch. This amp can give you everything from big, full, bright clean tones to great Vox-style overdriven tones that  breakup nicely and is quite responsive to your touch and playing.

 

This tone machine comes with a 12" speaker perfect for maintaining a tight low end.  It has a silky smooth top end.  It really sings well, whether cranked or turned down.  Notes ring out, the articulation we all crave is there, and it's truly usable in a variety of settings.

This amp is in excellent condition, has been tested to perfect working order, and is ready to go!  We don't see it lasting long here.
