You can own a modern classic from D'Angelico, one of the most iconic archtop makers, with this D'Angelico Premier DC in Black! This is an incredible semi-hollow body with impeccable construction, versatile electronics, and it is stylish with a great feel. We just took this one in, and it's super clean - the previous owner barely touched.
This D'Angelico Premier DC has a large resonant 16" semi-hollow body composed of maple with an arctop and back. This body projects plenty of warm acoustic tones, it has plenty of access to the fingerboard with its deep double-cutaway and comes with a sleek high-gloss black finish. The set maple neck has a comfy slim-C neck profile. The body and neck are bound with a cream binding. The Pau Ferro fingerboard has a flatter 14" radius with 22 medium nickel frets with block inlays. The 1 11/16” nut width provides ample spacing for complex chords with a GraphTec nut for better sustain.
This D'Angelico comes with a set of D'Angelico humbuckers that give you plenty of warmth, power, and articulate tones for whatever playing style or genre you want. This humbuckers are more than capable of giving you punchy cleans and crushing distorted tones whatever amps you run it through. Easily set your sounds with its individual volume and tone controls for each pickup with a 3-way selector.
If you're gonna call it Premier it better have good hardware and this D'Angelico delivers. It's got the sturdy nickel tune-o-matic bridge with its vintage-style stepped trapeze tailpiece. You'll stay in tune with Grover 109 Super Rotomatic tuners with a 14:1 gear ratio. The unique black pickguard is especially perfect with the rest of the guitar's aesthetics.
This is an instrument made by one of the best to make arctop guitars. It's in excellent condition and comes with a gig bag. Setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, it's ready to go.
