Pre Owned Fender Eric Johnson Stratocaster White Blonde Modified With Case
While the Fender Eric Stratocaster is a well-known model, you haven't seen one like this exact one!
This instrument is from the personal collection of the late Brad Pie who played guitar in the 1990’s with the great Johnny Otis. Along with Johnny’s sons - Shuggie Otis (Guitar) and Nicky Otis (Drums) - Brad contributed guitar to the 1992 Grammy-Nominated “Spirits of the Black Territory Bands” by the Johnny Otis & His Orchestra group. Many of the instruments from Brad’s collection are uniquely modified and come with various customized accessories. This particular instrument comes with the following:
The guitar has been upgraded with gold hardware, a new bridge, an Obsidian Wire ST-V wiring harness and Custom Shop neck and bridge pickups. A one point it had a different pickguard but we got the original back on there. A hardshell Fender case is included. Inside of it you'll find a very nice strap, cable, and a clip-on tuner.
- Light two-piece alder body with deep 1957-style body contours and cavities
- One-piece vintage-tint quartersawn maple neck (contours sanded very smooth) with '57-style "soft V" contour
- 12"-radius maple fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets
The guitar was built in 2007. It's in great shape and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. While if you're looking for a straight up Eric Johnson Strat that's all stock, this isn't for you, but if you dig a modified version, this is a great find. It's the the only one out there like this!
