Charlie Starr has remained a loyal Les Paul Junior player throughout his career. This legendary instrument is packed with great tones and feel. Based on his 1956 Gibson Les Paul Junior that has been refinished with lots of modifications. It has been his longest go-to guitar. This Ebony version was made in limited production of only 250 guitars.
This Gibson Charlie Starr Les Paul Junior features a mahogany neck with a 50s neck profile that was digitally scanned and replicated from Charlie's favorite Les Paul Junior. It comes with the iconic single-cut slab mahogany body with a High-Build Premium Satin Nitrocellulose Lacquer Ebony finish, that is sleek to the feel and candy for the eyes.
With its custom-designed overwound P-90 pickup you get the thickest of single-coil tones that are dynamic and take to gain like a fish to water. It comes with an adjustable Wraparound bridge with locking studs. The guitar comes with Grover tuners with large buttons for easy tuning.
This guitar is in excellent condition and comes with a Historic Les Paul Junior "Gator Skin" hardshell case and includes a Charlie Starr Signature Ceramic Slide and Hey Ya'll sticker, complete with Charlie's original misspelling.
