Pre Owned PRS Core McCarty Hollowbody II Piezo 10 Top Dark Cherry Sunburst Electric Guitar With Case

 Here is an excellent opportunity to own a killer PRS McCarty Hollowbody II with a killer 10 Top!  We originally sold this guitar years ago, and now the buyer has come back as a seller.  He's only parting with it to fund a new PRS guitar purchase.  

This early example of a McCarty Hollowbody II was built in 1999, just the second year of this model.  It's in great shape, with plenty of life left on the frets.  It does have some small signs of being played, with some scratches and dings, but nothing major.  It's what some would call "honest player wear".  All in all, the guitar is top notch considering it's age.  It has been fully vetted and set up by the techs in our repair shop to play perfectly.

The original case was replaced by a brand new PRS case (same as the one that would come with new high-end Hollowbody case).  It's a tight fit, but the foam will shape over time to fit perfectly.

With brilliant acoustics and a vast array of tones, the Hollowbody II has been a favorite of PRS fans for years. The combination of the maple top and back with mahogany sides provides tonal clarity and extraordinary resonance.  The neck is slim and easy to play fast, with full access to the higher register and all 22 frets.  The PRS Archtop Treble & Bass pickups are extremely versatile, and complement the piezo pickup perfectly.  They're powerful humbuckers but still great for getting single coil sounds.

The LR Baggs/PRS Piezo System comes standard, providing musicians with the versatility of wielding both acoustic and electric guitar tones in one instrument. There are two output jacks on the Hollowbody II, allowing guitarists to plug into their favorite electric guitar or acoustic guitar amp or DI into a soundboard. By utilizing the separate blend control, the tone of the Hollowbody II’s humbuckers can also be combined with acoustic sounds through a single output.
