Up for perusing is this amazing PRS Custom 24 10-Top in a stunning Black Gold Burst finish. Like PRS says, this is the quintessential PRS guitar - the same iconic instrument that was the first model that Paul Reed Smith brought to the public at the Winter NAMM show in 1985. It's "the one that started it all". Since then, the Custom 24 has become a legendary model and a top seller ever since. There's an extremely good reason for that - just look at it, then play it and hear it.
The Custom 24 features PRS’s patented Gen III tremolo system and PRS 85/15 pickups with volume and tone controls and a 5-way blade switch. 85/15 pickups were personally designed by Paul Reed Smith to give you striking articulation and expansive tone in the high and low end. These are some of the best and most versatile pickups out there.
With its amazing flame maple top (this one is graded as a 10-top) and striking Black Gold finish, you not only get great tone but also a beautiful stylish instrument. As a PRS dealer ourselves, we've had a lot of amazing pieces coming in the back door, but we were excited to see this one walking in the front door. We even more thrilled once we played it - the Pattern Thin neck is super comfortable.
This Custom 24 was hand-built in Maryland in 2020, meaning that it's the updated version with TCI-tuned pickups and nitro over celluose (CAB) finish. It's in excellent condition and comes with its original hardshell case with all the case candy. This is the full package here. It's super clean. And it's not going to last long!
