The Prestige Custom Shop represents the culmination of the past 20 years building world class instruments.  Every guitar leaving their facility is crafted utilizing the highest quality materials and components available.  Their approach to building guitars has led to joining forces with the best known and most respected OEM and component manufacturers on the planet.  They exclusively use Seymour Duncan USA Pick-ups, TonePros Locking Bridges, TUSQ XL nuts, Alpha Pots, Grover Tuners, and Bigsby USA Vibratos, on every instrument.

This Elite Semi-Hollow is fine example of their work.  This is the first Prestige piece we got in here, and we couldn't be more impressed.  The fit, finish and overall build quality is impeccable.  Unplugged, it's resonant and sounds full - but once plugged in, the guitar really shines.

The body is made of high quality Mahogany with an absolutely stunning AAAA Quilted Maple top.  The figuring is really something to behold - the photos look great but in person it's even more impressive, with an almost 3D look to it.  We love how Prestige did the Forest Green Burst finish to really show the grain.  To say this is a beautiful guitar would be an understatement.

The neck is impressive as well.  You'll see that it's rather unique - the back shows hows it's a 5 piece neck, made of Mahogany/Flame Maple/Peruvian Walnut.  Not only does it looks cool, but it also plays incredibly well, with a comfortable 60's C profile capped with a Macassar Ebony that has a 14" radius.  So, you'll be able to bend to your heart's content without fear of fretting out.

Prestige chose to load this guitar with Seymour Duncan Seth Lover humbuckers, which was a great choice.  They are ideal for player aiming to convert a solid body or semi-hollow guitar into a rock powerhouse but versatile enough to be used for a wide variety of styles  . The neck pickup delivers a smooth yet clear tone, balancing warm, full lows with a sweet treble. The bridge pickup delivers a warm, spacious, and open tone by perfectly balancing rich low-end warmth with a clear, smooth high-end. Chords resonate with fullness and openness, while single notes offer a gentle yet precise articulation.

Other features include Gotoh tuners, a bone nut, and a Tone Pros locking bridge and tailpiece.  The guitar comes complete with a nice hardshell case.
