T5z Classic

One of the more recent entries into Taylor's family of hybrid semi-hollowbody guitars, the T5z Classic delivers all the tonal nuance and cross-genre utility of its T5 forebears in a package that's less precious and a bit more affordable to the working musician. It retains the innovative spirit of its counterparts, outfitted with three pickups: one hidden neck humbucker, one visible bridge humbucker and a concealed acoustic body sensor. Five-way switching allows you to radically transform your sound with the flick of your wrist, supplying everything from fuzzed-out, overdriven electric riffs and lead lines to clear, warm acoustic tones suitable for fingerpicking or strumming. The minimalist appointments around the sapele body and mahogany top help preserve its accessibhle price point without sacrificing tone. It includes a lightweight gig bag for easy transportation.
