Used 2011 Danelectro DC-59 Matte Black With HSC

1959 had some truly interesting events, whether it's the first time we sent objects into space, the invention of MOSFET transistors, the signing of the Antarctic treaty, and sooo much more.

This Danelectro is based on the double cut model that premiered back in the day.  What you get is a light semi-hollow super resonant body with a beautiful black finsih, with a sleek comfy neck with rosewood fingerboard. You get plenty of access with its double-cut design. This is a supremely comfortable guitar to play (and lightweight too - it weighs in at just 6.1 lbs).

Let's talk pickups. The lipstick pickups on this guitar are synonymous with Danelectro guitars. They give you a distinct flavor of single-coil tone that is bright, yet punchy in the mids with great bass response.

All of the appointments add up to an instrument that is definitely a blast from the past. This Danelectro is good condition with some honest player wear but nothing major and the tape on the perimeter of the guitar has some peelage, but of course it plays great after being setup by the techs in our shop.  As an added bonus, comes with a hardshell case.

All in, this is a great score!
