Every now and then, a special acoustic snakes it's way in to our collective hearts.  While we have a ton of nice guitars here, and have seen a lot, sometimes there's one that really stops us in our tracks.  This one exemplies that - it's an amazing Gibson Custom Shop Limited Edition SJ-200 in the truly striking Viper Blue finish.
 
Gibson made a small number of these as part of a special run.  Limited Edition models like this are always cool - but this one takes it to another level.  Of course it's an amazing guitar - but aesthetically, this is truly unique.  Be sure to check out all of the photos, especially to see the wood grain.
  
This is the guitar of your dreams, especially if you dream in blue while hearing the power sound of a big-bodies acoustic.  You get a solid Sitka Spruce Top with solid Flame Maple back and sides, built with Gibson's traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing.  All of that adds up to a resonant body that gives you a huge full sound with plenty of frequency response especially in the low end.  As expected, it sounds BIG.  Perhaps not as expected is how responsive it is across the tonal specturm.  It's suprisingly balanced, and capable of being used for a variety of styles.
 
This SJ-200 has super comfortable neck with a resonant piece of rosewood adorned with Mother-of-Pearl Graduated crowns. Features carved four bar Moustache bridge, an engraved tortoise pickguard, and headstock inlay. Plus it is one of the most unique and striking finishes, Viper Blue! 
 
This guitar is in excellent condition - it's obvious that the previous owner took great care of it.  We've fully vetted it and had it setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.  The original hardshell case is included, as is the Certificate of Authenticy and other "case candy" items it came with when new.
