Used Asher Guitar Works J-Bass Alder Body

Asher Guitars & Lap Steels, founded by luthier Bill Asher, typically builds complete custom boutique instruments rather than selling standalone replacement bodies like a raw "J-Bass Body only" but here we have just that, one that escaped from teh factory!

  • Bill Asher operates a custom shop in Los Angeles, California, crafting custom orders and small-batch instruments rather than mass-producing parts.

  • Tonewood Selection: For their custom bass and guitar bodies, Asher frequently utilizes premium hand-selected tonewoods including swamp ash, okoume, basswood, and alder
