The Burns Marquee is a legendary solid body from Burns, legendary guitar makers from London that were fundamental to the early British Rock n Roll and more. This guitar comes with a double-cut contoured body with high gloss Olympic White finish. You get a 4-bolt maple neck with a vintage tint and a rosewood fingerboard with classic dot inlays. The headstock is an iconic curl headstock just like the vintage Burns guitars. You get the classic gold vintage-style tuners, gold vintage-style tremolo bridge, and iconic tortoise-style Burns mosaic pickguard.  

This Burns Marquee comes with a slew of player upgrades.  This includes a set of Seymour Duncan SSL pickups, new pots, 5-way CRL switch, Switchcraft jack, shielded control cavity, push/pull knob for neck pickup activation. You get the classic two Volume, one Tone controls. All of this turns this guitar into an incredibly versatile tone machine. So whether its clean or distorted tones you're after this guitar delivers the goods. 

These pickups really make a difference and are quite an upgrade.  Seymour Duncan makes them by using hand-ground alnico 5 rod magnets and heavy Formvar mag wire.  They have a special wind pattern to produce that bright, glassy, bell tone with all of the bounce and sparkle you would expect from the best Strat pickups from the 50s. The treble attack is crisp and immediate, while the low end remains articulate and focused. Chords ring out with clear note-to-note separation.  Bottom line, they sound amazing.

Whether its home, studio, or stage this Burns Marquee is ready to go! It's in excellent condition, with nary a nick on it, and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop!  The hardshell case is included.  This is a great score.
