While the Raleigh is a popular boutique amp, this one is a unique version: it's in a beautiful custom Fawn/Slub tolex covering. This two-tone styling was done exclusively for Truetone.
This is the amp you want by your side for practice or recording, and if you can mike it up you can even use it for stage. This Carr Raleigh gives you the best of shimmering clean tones to overdriven tube bliss. With just 3 knobs and 4-watts you can get the best of '60s American style cleans to edgy breakup with a great range of harmonic complexity. The heart of this amp is a single EL84 power tube in a pure Class-A output stage, driven by two 12AX7 preamp tubes in the front end. This gives you an amp that features great touch-sensitivity and clarity. With a flick of the switch you can go from clean to overdrive. The overdrive brings in a Master Volume control which can let you dial in saturated tones with impressive sustain. All of this coming from a 1x10" speaker specifically voiced for this amp.
This is a great amp in excellent condition. It was originally a new amp here at Truetone, sold a few months ago, used just a few times, and now back here. It's been vetted and tested to perfect working order, so it's good to go!
