Used ESP LTD MH-250 Transparent Black With Case

Up for sale is a shred machine, this ESP LTD MH-250 in Trans Black! This guitar is the perfect solid body powerhouse for players who want a guitar that brings it.  And this one has been nicely modified, so what you have hear isn't your regular LTD, it's an upgraded beast.

The ESP LTD MH-250 is double-cut with a solid agathis body with a maple top. This gives it a lively tone that will help to cut through the mix.  The bolt-on maple neck comes with a comfy thin "U" shape with a bound rosewood fingerboard with offset block inlay fret markers.   The first upgrade, and it's a big one, is that this guitar has been professionally refretted with stainless steel frets.

The second upgrade is the sound.  The previous owner pulled out the stock pickups and loaded it with something special: the neck pickup is DiMarzio Super Distortion; the bridge pickup is Seymour Duncan Black Winter.  These pickups bring you thick, punchy tones that are great for clean but can really excel with aggressive gain.  The Super Distortion is an all-time classic for players that get heavy - it's the first pickup specifically designed to kick a tube amp into overdrive, and is still the standard by which all other high-output pickups are measured.  Whether riffing, chording or soloing, this gets you the wall of sound to fill the room.  The Black Winter is a perfect complement, as it's a high output humbucker designed for metal.  You get incredible clarify in the mids and highs, with a tight and focused bottom end.  It works well in super overdriven settings, and you won't lose separation or sensitivy.  So if you're detuning, palm muting or just plain old getting heavy, this is the sound you want.

The rest of the guitar is stock.  You get super simple controls with a Volume, Tone, 3-way toggle switch and you can even tap the coils to give you single-coil tones with a push/pull knob. The MH-250 was made for shred and expressive tremolo playing. Divebomb with ease with its locking nut and tremolo while staying stable and in tune.
