This Gretsch gives you the best of '50s and '60s Gretsch guitars both sonically and aesthetically. What you get is the classic Gretsch laminated maple hollow-body with beautiful binding. It also has a trestle block design that gives you more sustain and articulation. You'll love the feel of its comfy Classic "C" shaped maple neck with a 12" radius and laurel fingerboard. Lets talk pickups! This Gretsch G5422G-12 has FT-5E Filter-Tron humbuckers which pay homage to the classic Filter'Trons but with an additional clarity for the jangle of this fine 12-string.
More premium features include versatile upgraded controls including master volume with treble bleed circuit, master tone, individual pickup volume controls and three-position tone switch, oversized bound F-holes, multi-ply body binding, smaller late-'50s G6120 bound headstock, sealed die-cast tuning machines, Graph Tech® NuBone® nut, historic pearloid Hump Block inlays, secured Adjusto-Matic™ bridge and a Gretsch G-cutout tailpiece.
