This Limited Edition 480XC revives a classic design that disappeared from Rickenbacker's lineup over four decades ago, reimagined for contemporary players. The body contours draw inspiration from the their iconic bass designs, creating an instrument that delivers exceptional comfort. This is an instrument with distinctive tonal characteristics that set it apart from other electric guitars. As a numbered anniversary release, this a rare opportunity to acquire a guitar that bridges Rickenbacker's storied past with modern improvements.

This anniversary model elevates the original 480 design with a Schaller bridge engineered for enhanced sustain and tonal clarity. Dual hot-wound Toaster pickups deliver the jangly, articulate character that Rickenbackers are known for, with a voice that cuts through any mix. The blackened hardware contrasts beautifully against the signature checkerboard binding, while the Macassar ebony fingerboard features crushed pearl block inlays that catch light with elegance.
