Pre Owned Novo Idris H2 Sunburst With Mono Case
From brilliant builder Dennis Fano, here is a Novo Idris H2 Sunburst. It's a rare bird, the only one exactly like it ever made, and we were thrilled when it flew in here. This guitar part of Novo's first custom run on Reverb. Only 5 guitars were made, each in a different color, so this is the only one out there in Sunburst.
Novo guitars are Dennis Fano's exceptional line of guitars that represent everything he's done with the Fano line and beyond. The Idris is a bolt-on guitar unlike any other. Taking heavy inspiration from the 1960's guitar design and of Teisco and Fender guitars, this Novo is a perfect blend. This instrument features a highly resonant tempered offset pine body is lightly distressed, and has a beautiful grain pattern underneath the sunburst finish. A larger pocket for the bridge adds even more resonance and with two deep cutaways, it's a classic style that is easy to play.
The tempered neck has a slim profile and compound radius from 9" to 14" with a sleek satin finish perfect for hours of playing with no resistance. You get a rosewood fingerboard has 22 silver/nickel frets. We found it easy to play and hard to put down.
The premium features continue. With a pair of Lollar dB humbucking pickups you get high output and harmonic complexity that cuts brittleness. These are designed with a dual-blade (rail) design to deliver massive punch and gain while avoiding the mud and compression common in high-output pickups. They have a tight, punchy low-end that keeps solid during palm muting, strong mids that stay present for heavy riffing, and rich upper harmonics without harshness for lead playing.
You also get an Emerson Custom Paper in Oil Tone Capacitor (0.022µF Yellow and Cream). It's the same as what is inside the tone circuits of the most classic guitars ever made. It's a high-grade, vintage-style tone capacitor designed primarily for guitars with humbuckers.
This Idris H2 is loaded with high quality hardware as well. The MannMade USA Tremolo is designed to improve tuning stability, with increased sustain and note clarity, while allowing you to bend up or down using a whammy bar. Plus, with Kluson tuners you get exceptional tuning stability and sustain.
This is an exceptional guitar in excellent condition and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. It comes with a Mono gig bag, a nice added value. There aren't any of these out there, and we think that it will go quick!
