Introduced in 1982 to bridge the gap between professional-grade specs and affordable pricing, Squier has been the brand to bring the Telecaster, Stratocaster, Jazzmaster, Precision Bass, and Jazz Bass to a whole different audience. This Vintage Edition Jazzmaster delivers an authentic offset body, classic Jazzmaster electronics, and period-correct aestetics. It offers seasoned players and collectors genuine Fender engineering at a great value.

This Squier 40th Anniversary Jazzmaster Vintage Edition captures the offset guitar's distinctive character and tone with its sleek alder body. Aged chrome hardware, anodized aluminum pickguard, and vintage-tinted maple neck establish authentic aesthetics, while the engraved anniversary neck plate commemorates four decades of Squier's impact. The slim "C"-shaped neck profile provides comfortable playability for long periods of playing. Fender-Designed single-coil pickups with alnico 5 magnets deliver the Jazzmaster's signature warm, articulate tone—ideal for surf, indie, and alternative styles but it was quite capable with any style of playing.  This guitar is in excellent condition.  Everything is original except for the trem arm; that's an aftermarket replacement.  Setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, this is ready to go.
