Fender only builds the 1954 model every 10 years, for the anniversary. This 2014 Fender 60th Anniversary edition recreates the legendary 1954 Stratocaster that revolutionized electric guitar. Meticulously constructed with period-accurate specifications, it delivers the warm, articulate tones that defined an era.
Built with a two-piece ash body and authentic flash-coat lacquer in 2-Color Sunburst, this instrument features a comfortable 1954-profile maple neck with a 7.25"-radius fingerboard and 21 vintage frets.
Three original-spec single-coil pickups deliver the crystal clear, bell-like tones characteristic of the era, supported by five-way switching plus an optional three-way configuration for traditional wiring. The vintage-correct hardware includes a synchronized tremolo bridge with patent-pending saddles, period-correct tuners, bone nut, and white pickguard. This is detailed recreation that captures the sonic and aesthetics of the classic original design.
This limited-edition commemorative instrument comes with an impressive collection of vintage-inspired accessories: a center-pocket tweed case, reproduction cable, leather strap, bridge cover, and polishing cloth. It also comes with its original hardshell case.
This guitar is in good condition with some dings and finish marks on the body, but nothing that impacts the playability or sound. It's been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop and is ready to go. This is great find, especially at this price.
