It brandishes a 2-Piece Select Ash with Offset Seam body, with a stunning AAAA Maple Burl top. If that wasn't enough, it's paired with an unbelievable AAA Roasted Flame Maple neck. This bass commands an awe-inspiring aesthetic with remarkable resonance. It's sure to turn heads - but it also plays and sounds amazing. It's smooth, and of course sounds great, providing the classic Jazz bass sound thanks to its vintage-spec pickups. The neck has a vintage feel with the 1960 Jazz Bass "U" profile, but is modernized with a flatter radius and medium jumbo frets, for excellent and easy playability The RSD Designed HiMass bridges supplies improved sustain and tone. So, you get a classic sound, enhanced with modern features, and of course an unforgettable look. The mother of pearl dot inlays are a nice touch on the rosewood fretboard.
The bass is loaded with Custom Shop Hand-Wound '60s Jazz Bass Heavy Beveled Alnico V pickups. This set has a warm, well-balanced tone that is familiar, but with added punch and snap from the unique combination of woods. It's the sort of bass that you could use on any gig or recording session - it's versatile and capable of laying down a strong foundation whether you're playing rock, reggae, country or anything else.
