You get what the American Professional Classic series is known for - made in the USA at an affordable price point, with classic Fender styling - but with the upgrade of Custom Shop pickups and a roasted maple neck.
You get an alder body, while the sleek roasted maple neck with Modern "C" profile provides exceptional comfort and playability. The 9.5" radius and medium jumbo frets make bending a breeze, even in the higher register - no fear of fretting out on this one.
Under the hood, vintage-inspired Custom Shop Fat '60s Stratocaster® pickups deliver depth, punch and sparkle. They provide mellow vintage tones but with enough bite to cut through the mix with crisp articulation, and are over-wound for a hefty low-end punch. Alnico 2 magnets, Formvar magnet wire, period-correct cloth wire, and a fiber bobbin keep it accurate to what you would expect in a vintage Strat, with a warm, sweet output. The reverse-wound, reverse-polarity middle pickup eliminates hum for whisper-quiet performance.
The 6-screw vintage-style bridge to keep it true to what an old school Fender would have. Fender Staggered ClassicGear™ tuners provide classic looks and precise tuning stability. A gig bag is included as well.
