Used Fender Pro Newporter Natural Acoustic Electric Guitar With OHSC

Back in 2012, Fender dove headfirst into the world of American-made acoustic guitars. Rather than building yet another standard dreadnaught style guitar, Fender did what Fender does best: they made something unique to Fender. The Acoustic Custom Shop was created in the New Hartford, CT factory that had been used to build Guild guitars for years, and the result were some amazing instruments that became known as the Pro Custom Series.
All of the guitars were done as small runs, and only sold to an exclusive group of dealers that were the "right fit". While the Acoustic Custom Shop only last for a few years, these instruments became an import part of company's history. They also have become highly in demand by Fender fans and collectors everywhere. Very few are out there on the open market, so we were thrilled to see this one walking through the door.
In stock and in excellent condition is this great, sweet and mellow sounding, all-solid mahogany Fender Pro Custom Newporter. Built by the master luthiers of the Fender Acoustic Custom Shop and based on the original Fender Newporter of the '60s, is also one of a limited run of 150.
Featuring a "C" neck profile with a Strat headstock, this is a very smooth playing guitar. The Newporter body is a very comfortable size, and while smaller than a dreadnaught, it projects loudly and with a full body of tone. The solid Mahogany body provides warmth while still being articulate, thanks to the forward shifted scalloped X bracing.
This instrument comes with a deluxe hard-shell case and certificate of authenticity. Very few of these ever become available (only 150 were made), so it's a rare find. Get it before it's gone!
