Phil Collen has wielded Jackson since 1986, and the Pro Series PC1-E carries on the legacy of his landmark PC1 Dinky — one of Jackson's first artist collaborations.
Features a mahogany body, caramelized maple neck with graphite reinforcement, and ebony fingerboard with compound radius and 24 jumbo frets. All of that results in a resonant, rock solid and easy to play guitar. It has a nitrocellulose lacquer finish that has been given a tastefully done distressed finish. This isn't just for looks; it also creates a nice broken-in feel.
The PC1-E is Loaded with an amazing trio of pickups. You get a DiMarzio® X2N® bridge humbucker, DiMarzio Sugar Chakra™ middle, and the PC1 Sustainer Driver (18V) for infinite sustain. You'll be able to get a variety of tones with those pickups, and addition to the push-pull pot for coil splitting.
Other features include a Floyd Rose® 1000 Series tremolo with locking tuners, black relic finish with gold hardware, and foam core case included.
