Novo Nucleus Voltur V2 Amber with Soft Case

Here at Truetone, we've been fans of Novo guitars for some time, and are excited to become a dealer.  We've built a strong relationship, just received our first batch and are proud to now be the destination for Novo in the Los Angeles area.

The Novo Nucleus Voltur combines vintage-inspired aesthetics with modern playability, in a package you haven't seen before.  It's built with a tempered pine body and maple neck, resulting in great resonance, even unplugged.  Tthe chunky 'C' neck profile offers comfortable playability for extended sessions - it has a great vintage grip without being too fat. The rosewood fingerboard with MOTO dot inlays and medium nickel/silver frets ensures smooth, responsive playing.  It has a 24.75" scale length with a 1.687″ nut width, while the 9.5″-14" compound fingerboard radius accommodates both open chords and lead work.   You can bend to your heart's content in the higher register without the fear of fretting out.  

The light distress finish gives it character and vintage appeal.  It's a thin nitrocellulose lacquer that will age naturally with your playing over the years.  The way that Novo does the aging work makes each guitar unique to itself - check out the photos closely to see how this Voltur was done.

Featuring a unique set of pickups, this guitar delivers warm, articulate tones perfect for variety of styles.   In the bridge position, you get a Lindy Fralin Unbucker.  It has AlNiCo IV magnets for a smooth, rich sound, with a scooped midrange with an emphasis on top-end clarity, and has a an even response across strings, with great consistency.  In the neck position, you get a Lollar Staple P-90.  Based on the original 1950s Staple pickup, this updated version is more articulate than a standard P-90 and produces higher output while maintaining a clear top end.  Both pickups are handmade in the U.S., bringing two of the best pickup companies together on a single guitar.

The chopped Tele-style bridge with compensated brass saddles provides a stable foundation for intonation and tuning stability, along with the Novo 18:1 tuners.  The guitar also features a bone nut, witch hat knobs and a 3-ply white pickguard.

Strung with Stringjoy Signature 11-50 strings for balanced tone and playability, the Nuclues Voltur arrives in a Novo Deluxe Padded Soft Case for protection. An excellent choice for players seeking a versatile, well-crafted instrument with distinctive character and reliable hardware.  This is truly one of the most unique and coolest guitars we have here now.
