You get the classic double-cut contoured alder body with sleek high gloss finish in the ever stylish Sunburst finish. The bolt-on maple neck comes with a rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets and a comfortable thinner neck profile. You get a roller nut for improved stability and sustain especially with use of its two-point tremolo bridge. Express yourself without worrying about your tuning. Speaking of tuning you get the deluxe experience of locking tuners for easy tuning and restringing. In addition the bridge features the flat saddles for a comfortable experience especially with palm-muting.

The Fender Strat Plus came packed with the cutting-edge Lace Sensor noiseless pickups. These pickups deliver classic Strat single-coil tones with all the chime and sparkle but with the ability to cancel-out that annoying single-coil hum. You get the classic controls of two tones, and a master volume with a 5-way selector.

(The serial number starts with "E4" which to some may indicate it's from 1984 - but that's not the case with this one.  It's just one of those quirks from 80's era Fender.  We checked and it is from 1987)
