Pre Owned 1990s Fender Made In Japan VJ ST-57 Strat Gold With Gig Bag
In 1982, Fender Japan made its debut, producing a variety of domestic market Fenders. Though well known for its distinct visuals, Fender Japan predominantly focused on replicating classic American Fender models. This one, made in the 90's, is one of those. It's a great ST-57 Stratocaster, in a tasty gold finish.
This is a Strat that gives you all you want from a Strat. Classic contoured body, comfortable maple neck, vintage-style tremolo bridge, and three pickups. However we got an upgrade for you. You get DiMarzio DP407 “Virtual 2” pickups in the middle and bridge position with a DiMarzio DP409 “Virtual Heavy Blues” for the bridge pickup. This is a fantastic combination of pickups that will give you the chime and cut for rhythm or lead playing.
This guitar has been recently repaired with the cracks in the neck pocket glued, so it's fully stable and good to go. The work was done in here at Truetone, and also fully setup. It's in great condition overall and comes with a gig bag.
For thos that know about Japanese-made Fender guitars, this is a great score, especially at this price. These are hard to find, especially one like this - and we think it will go fast!
