Pre-Owned 1995 Gibson Les Paul Special TV Yellow With OHSC

Why have standard tones when you can have special ones with this Gibson Les Paul Special in TV Yellow. This blast from the past comes with plenty of great tones, and iconic features. And this particular one is from 1995!  What a year that was - it was the year of the OJ trial, the launching of eBay, and The Bends by Radiohead.  But let's no lose focus on what matters....

According to the Internet, Gibson guitars from 1995 are highly regarded because they fall into the company's "Good Wood" era.  Following new ownership, Gibson made a major push to use premium woods and strictly control build quality. Instruments from the mid-90's are celebrated for great tone and feel.

This Les Paul Special comes with a resonant slab single-cut mahogany body. The set and bound mahogany neck is a comfortable '50s style shape with a little thicker profile than others. You still get the vintage-style wraparound bridge and pickup selector with volume and tone controls for each pickup. The triple black pickguard, black controls, and black pickup covers add even more style. There's a reason that this model has lasted for so many years - it's simple, and it's a winner.

This model experienced a considerable evolution near the finish of the '50s and has been repeatedly reissued since its original launch. Many renowned players, such as Bob Marley, John Lennon and Martin Barre, have favored the Les Paul Special and helped cement its legendary status in guitar history. 

Possessing slightly superior specs than the Les Paul Jr, the Les Paul Special first hit the market in 1955, equipped with two P-90 pickups. These pickups give you thick robust tones with plenty of warmth and chime.

The techs in our shop have setup this Les Paul Special to play perfectly.  This guitar is in good condition with some honest player wear - it's not minty fresh but rather seasoned with time.  And full of killer tone.  This is a great find for sure!
