Pre Owned 1995 Rickenbacker 360 WB 6 String Guitar Fireglo With Case
We just took in a sweet Rickenbacker 360 in the gorgeous color of Fireglo. Handbuilt here in California in 1995, this one is an exceptionally nice player. It's a bit of a rare bird and sure to snag the attention of Rickenbacker fans.
The Rickenbacker 360 is an iconic guitar - it broke all the rules of traditional styling when it appeared amid the 'British' sound of the 1960's. Subtly updated through the years, this Deluxe hollow body with its special contour around the entire body perimeter, is still perhaps the most comfortable guitar of all. This is a "WB" version, which stands for white binding (on both sides). Rickenbacker originally only offered the 360 WB models on a special order basis. A prototype version came out in the late 60's, and the 360 WB was added to the custom order pricelist in the mid 80's. It's an incredible look, and these are hard to find.
The bound body and Rosewood fingerboard, inlayed with triangular pearloid markers, provide an exceptionally attractive appearance. We love how the Fireglo finish is framed by the white binding - it's a really nice touch.
This one in particular came to us from a big collector that is serious about his Rickenbackers. He kept it in excellent condition. Everything is original (as is the case). It has been vetted and setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. The neck is in great shape, with no issues. Everyone here that has played it commented on how nicely it plays, as well as how beautiful the finish is.
This six-strummer is stellar and a great addition to the collection of any Rickenbacker fan. We don't expect it to last long!
