Pre Owned 1996 Ernie Ball Music Man Sterling 4 Bass Blue Pearl With Gig Bag

If you're looking for a quality American made bass with a different flavor, check out this Sterling.  It hails from 1996 and plays great - and of course, it sounds amazing.  This Music Man Sterling 4 Bass is everything you want from an active bass legend!

This bass has a slightly smaller body and neck profile compared to the StingRay but still delivers thick powerful tones with its humbucker and 3-band active EQ. The Sterling 4 has a contoured double-cut hardwood body that is a smaller profile for a very comfortable feel. You get a solid bolt-on birds-eye maple neck with 22 frets and comfy slimmer neck profile with black dot markers. 

This Sterling bass has a powerful Music Man humbucking pickup with ceramic magnets and a hum canceling phantom coil. This pickup combined with its active electronics that include a 3-band active preamp; Volume, Treble, Mid, and Bass controls. This delivers rich, thick tones that can be easily sculpted to suit whatever style of playing you want. The solid heavy mass bridge provides excellent sustain and stability while its individual saddles allow for perfect intonation. All in all this is an incredible bass that is extremely versatile.

This one is in a super cool finish called Blue Pearl - the photos came out great but it's even better in person.  It's a sleek looking bass for sure.

The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly.  It's in good condition with a couple of dings but plays amazingly well and comes with a gig bag.  This is a great score at this price.
