Pre-Owned 1996 Fender Japan '52 Reissue Telecaster TL52-70 Natural finish With Gig Bag

We just took in a stellar Telecaster - made in Japan in 1996, this Fender TL52-70 is a highly regarded 1952 Telecaster reissue.  It was made in what many consider to be one of the golden eras of Japanese craftsmanship by the Fujigen factory. Highly sought after for its strict adherence to vintage specifications and outstanding build quality, this guitar delivers classic Tele tone and feel, at a great price.

When it comes to desirable 90's Fender guitars, this one takes the cake - it's a mid 90's made in Japan 1952 Reissue Telecaster, in the classic color of Butterscotch Blonde.  Built during an era when many companies (including Fender, in some instances) were shifting to "modern" specs and colors, the Reissue series coming from Japan were a throwback to the original Fender models.  The Japanese-made Fender guitars from the 90's are known for their long-lasting build quality, easy to play necks, and collectibility.  

You get a premium solid ash body finish in Butterscotch Blonde (of course!) and a sturdy maple neck with a U profile and period correct specs.  It's fun one to play - no, this is not a super thin shredder neck, but if that's what you want, you're not even reading this!  if you've made it this far, you know what the feel is - old school, fat but not too thick, and perfect for those that appreciate the neck shapes of the early days.  The fit & finish is impressive.

This Tele sounds just as impressive, thanks to the TL Vintage single-coil pickups (Matsumoto, Japan).  Bright and twang - just as you'd expect an early 50's Tele to sound -  with the ability to darken when you need it.

The electronics were just thoroughly cleaned by our techs, and the guitar has also been fully setup to play perfectly.  Also, it's incredibly light, weighing in at just 6.6 lbs.  A gig bag is included.  If you're looking for a killer Tele with top notch build quality without breaking the bank, this is it.
