We have an incredible vintage boutique acoustic with this Goodall Rosewood Standard, from one of the best builders out there. This is an instrument built with choice tonewoods and expert craftsmanship, bringing you a guitar that is tonally brilliant with their time-honored designs. In addition, this model is from 1996 which gave it plenty of time to "open" up over the last 30 years.
This Goodall Rosewood Standard is a large body acoustic with plenty of resonance and packed with warm tones with incredible depth and harmonics. The X-braces provide stability while providing maximum projection. The Sitka spruce top brings you plenty of snap while its Indian rosewood back and sides gives you plenty of warmth that balances the top to give you a wide range of tones. This Goodall gives you everything you want from an acoustic with excellent warm lows, pronounced midrange tones, and sparkly highs all from one guitar. The back and sides feature beautiful grain patterns and its Indian rosewood binding really adds to striking aesthetics.
The set Honduran mahogany neck comes with a comfortable neck shape with a smooth satin finish. The ebony fingerboard has 20 frets with an ebony binding with notched MOP Diamonds inlays. In fact this Goodall is blessed with plenty of ebony. You have an ebony bridge with ebony bridge pins. It's gold Gotoh 510 tuners come with ebony buttons.
Besides it's incredible tones this guitar has even more impressive aesthetic features. Whether it is its headstock inlay MOP Wings with Abalone G with headstock binding. The Abalone rosette is especially striking and you get protective and discrete clear pickguard so you can see all the grains of the top.
This is an exceptional acoustic guitar that brings you a wealth of tonal features and aesthetics that are top notch. It's in good condition with a bit of player wear and scratches, but nothing major. The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly and of course it sounds amazing. Also, the guitar comes with its original hardshell case. This is quite the find!
