Pre-Owned 2001 Hamer Studio Custom Double Cut - Honey With OHSC

For those on the hunt for something special, we have a great specimen for you.  This beautifully crafted USA-made 2001 Hamer Studio Custom Double Cut just came in.  It brings together refined aesthetics, thoughtful design, and the unmistakable character of a set-neck mahogany instrument.

Its double-cutaway body pairs rich mahogany with an arched, quilt maple top. A mahogany set neck and rosewood fingerboard deliver a classic, substantial feel, and is easy to play.  The dual Seymour Duncan humbuckers offer a great foundation of rich, articulate tones that can be used for a variety of style. The guitar is fitted with a Duncan JB in the bridge position and a '59 in the neck, providing a compelling combination of punch, clarity, warmth, and sustain.

Finished with a Tune-o-matic bridge, Schaller tuners, and a straightforward three-knob control layout, this is an instrument that balances distinctive design with practical, player-focused functionality.

A standout example of Hamer’s American craftsmanship, this Studio Custom Double Cut offers boutique appeal, elegant detailing, and a voice that feels equally at home in the studio or on stage.  It's in great condition, especially considering it's a quarter century old.  There is player wear, and we found that some of the binding is shrinking on the horns (see photos).  But, overall, it's clean and has been well cared for.  Setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, this guitar is ready for its next home.  The original hardshell case is included.  If you're into Hamer guitars, this is a great find.
