It's not a mirage, it's a 2003 Gibson Les Paul Standard Plus Top in the sizzling Desert Burst finish. This exceptional USA-made Gibson features premium tonewoods, powerful pickups, and iconic craftmanship. 

This is everything you know and love from the legendary Les Paul. It has the classic single cut body with a solid mahogany back and bound maple cap. The body is resonant with warm tones and legendary sustain. The Plus top is exquisite with beautiful flames and grain with a high gloss Desert Burst finish. This body is also weight-relieved with a traditional 9-hole weight relief, so it's just 8.4 lbs.  That's perfect for long periods of playing time, without any compromise of tone or sustain. The set mahogany neck comes with the '60s taper neck profile which is slim and comfortable. It has a bound rosewood fingerboard with 22 narrow-tall frets and classic trapezoid inlays. 

With a Burstbucker 1 in the neck and Burstbucker 2 in the bridge you are set with punchy, warm, and articulate humbucking tones. These pickups deliver the goods and are perfect for any style of playing. The sound is great with clean settings, but this is a Les Paul, they sound even better cranked with distorted settings. It's super easy to find your favorite sounds with individual volume and tone controls for each pickup and its 3-way selector. 

All the classic hardware is here on this fine Les Paul. You get the tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece. Stay in tune with the classic Gibson Deluxe tuners with tulip buttons. 

This is a great Les Paul that is everything that has made the Gibson Les Paul a legend with the added bonus of its lighter weight. It's in excellent condition and comes with its original hardshell case.  The previous owner kept it clean - there are signs of it being played of course but overall it's really nice, especially considering that the guitar tuned 23 this year.  Setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, it's ready to roll.
