Fans of rare boutique basses are going to do a double take on this one.  If you're looking for a lightweight 5-string bass we've got you covered with this Parker Fly Bass 5-string! This 2005 build is one that you don't see everything day, that's for sure.  Not many were made and we rarely see Parker basses in general, let along a 5-string like this.

It's a solid-body bass with a spruce body with a exquisite quilted maple face and back. You get a deep-pocket set graphite neck construction which gives you excellent sustain, resonance, and tuning stability. It has a sleek finish with a comfortable profile that's super easy to play. This is a 34" scale length with a rock solid Custom Ibanez Mono-Rail II Bridge solid bridge and Sperzel locking tuners.

This Parker bass is packed with a set of DiMarzio custom wound pickups with a Custom Fishman active piezo pickup preamp/mixer system. You get intuitive controls with a Master volume, Mag volume, Mag PU plan, Mag PU 2 band EQ (stacked), Piezo vol, and active tone (stacked). With its plethora of tonal options and controls you get a ton of sounds that you would never get with another bass.

This bass is in great shape.  There are a few marks/nicks in the finish but overall it's pretty clean.  Also, the previous owner put white dots on the body and knobs to be able to see where the controls were set while on stage.  We didn't want to try to remove them, but that is something that could be done if one desired.  The bass has been setup to play perfectly - the action is low and the strings are light, so it's a touch player's bass.  It could be restrung and resetup for a heavier handed approach.

A gig bag is included.  A Parker Fly 5-string is a rare bass to find and we have a feeling it will fly out of here quickly.
