Up for sale is this incredible Fender Jaguar Bass in 3-Tone Sunburst, are rare find in a forest of basses.  Crafted in Japan in 2008, it's been kept in great condition over the years, has been setup to play perfectly by our techs, and includes an aftermarket hardshell case.

Originally released in 2006 to much fanfare, the Jaguar bass has gone through many iterations since then, but those that know, the original Japanese-made model is the one to go for.  The 3-Tone Sunburst version was originally only available in the Japanese market, and then hit the U.S. in 2008.  It was only around for a few years, so it's a hard one to come by.

This bass is perfect for the player who wants a Fender bass that's a bit different, with plenty of tone options. Enjoy the classic offset contoured body, and the comfortable modern "C" neck. You'll love the stylish block inlays on the resonant rosewood fingerboard. The power of the Jaguar bass is in its electronics. What you get is two powerful single-coil pickups with a unique set of features.  On the rear control plate you get a Master Volume and Master Tone (functions in passive mode only).  On the upper control plate you get an Active/Passive Slide Switch, a Treble Boost/Cut Thumb Wheel, and a Bass Boost/Cut Thumb Wheel.  On the lower control plate you get dedicated Pickup On/Off Switches and a Series/Parallel Switch.  Needless to say, you get can a ton of tones of a Jaguar bass like this.

The 34" scale length, 1.5" nut width, C shape neck profile and 9.5" radius makes this a familar feeling bass.  It's comfortable to keep strapped on all night, and of course it sounds amazing, with two powerful Jazz bass pickups.

There's a reason that players as diverse such as Pino Palladino, Justin Meldal-Johnsen, Troy Sanders and Colin Greenwood have weilded a Jaguar bass - it's a versatile instrument that can do a lot.  We rarely ever see these, so if you're on the hunt, the beast has actually found you.
