Pre-Owned 2013 Fender American Standard Tele Mystic Red With OHSC

Over the years, Fender has made a wide variety of models, but perhaps the best selling series has been the American Standard.  There have been various iterations, and this 2013 Fender American Standard Telecaster in Mystic Red is a great example of how the line changed.  It features premium factory upgrades that Fender introduced to the American Standard line in 2012. It perfectly balances classic vintage Telecaster tones with modern player comfort.

You get a solid Alder featuring a modern "tummy cut" (belly contour) on the back for increased playing comfort against your body.  It's combined with the one-piece Maple neck that has a very comfortable Modern "C" shape, a player-friendly 9.5" radius and 22 medium jumbo frets, satin back finish, and a gloss fretboard face.  Together, you get a guitar that you won't want to put down.  Especially once plugged in - as 2012 is when Fender Custom Shop pickups were added to the American Standard guitars.   Here's what you get:

• Neck: Custom Shop "Twisted" Tele (delivers Stratocaster-like top-end clarity without the typical Tele neck pickup muddiness)
• Bridge: Custom Shop Broadcaster (provides punchy, high-output vintage twang)

As an added bonus, this Tele comes in a relatively rare color, called Mystic Red.  It's a rich, metallic red finish introduced then, and only made available for 2 years. You also get a modern 6-saddle string-through-body bridge with bent steel saddles for precise intonation and great sustain, and a Micro-Tilt neck adjustment feature.

This American Standard Tele may be 13 years old but it looks almost new - the previous owner never played it, so what you're getting is in excellent condition.  Setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, with the original hardshell case, this guitar is ready to go.
