If you're looking a low wattage, high quality, boutique guitar amp built by one of the best in America, this is a great way to go. We just took this one in, and it's super clean.
The Benson Amps Nathan Junior is a 5-watt, hand-wired tube guitar amplifier and features a 10" Celestion Greenback speaker, an onboard spring reverb, and point-to-point construction. Huge "shining" amp sound out of a tiny grab-and-go package, highly responsive dynamics, and a striking visual aesthetic with the non-stand Salt/Pepper covering and wheat grille cloth.
Nathan Junior (the person) is a veteran of Portland indie rock with a special passion for teaching music to the youth…this amp was inspired by and dedicated to him.
The Nathan Junior guitar amplifier, released in 2018, is now a veteran of recording studios and gigs around the world. Oh the places it’s been! For 5 watts crammed in a box that fits in your passenger seat, the Nathan Junior sounds shockingly big. It’s the perfect grab and go combo for small gigs and recording.
