The SG-51 is an OM Hybrid model in the Studio Goose series. The torrefied AAAA Adirondack red spruce top, combined with the East Indian Rosewood back & sides, sounds amazing - balanced, full of even projection, and soulful, this is one seriously impressive acoustic. The high gloss finish looks very nice, and the satin finish on the mahogany neck is very comfortable to play.
This particular one isn't just a regular Studio Goose SG-51, it also has been upgraded with the "Vintage Pack". Designed and crafted for people who are nostalgic about vintage look and elements, the Vintage Pack meets all expectations. The guitar comes with a Gold Touch torrefied soundboard, which enhances the sound as well as the look. The bone nut measures 1.750″, making it very easy to play The neck has a traditional tapered headstock design and the open gear tuners reflect the spirit of the 30s.
This is one of two Boucher guitars we just took in, and couldn't be more impressed. It plays amazingly, especially after being setup by the techs in our shop. It's in excellent condition and comes with the original hardshell case. If you're in the market for a high-quality acoustic, you would be hard pressed to find one nicer than this one.
