Pre-Owned Dingwall Adam “Nolly” Getgood NG3 Signature Combustion 5-String Bass with Gig Bag - Celestial Blue

If you're looking for the benchmark of modern high-performance bass engineering, check out this Dingwall Adam “Nolly” Getgood NG3 Signature 5-String Bass in Matte Celestial Blue.  We've never had one of these here before, and as soon as it sauntered in, this bass got everyone's attention.

Built around Dingwall’s multi-scale Novax fanned-fret system, this instrument scales from a massive 37-inch low B string down to a snappy 34-inch high G. This gradual fret angle ensures optimal string tension across all five strings, delivering unmatched low-end clarity, thunderous B-string definition, and perfectly balanced intonation all the way up the maple fingerboard.  It takes a bit of getting used to if you've never played a fanned-fret bass, but once you do, it's easy - and you may not want to go back to anything else.

As near to perfect as a modern rock bass gets, the NG Signature model incorporates the collective know-how of Dingwall engineering and Darkglass Electronics in one instrument. Developed to meet the punch and power required by Periphery bassist Adam ‘Nolly’ Getgood, this is the sort of bass that can handle true demand for progressive playing.

Underneath the racing-inspired carbon-fiber-style pickguard sits a triad of neodymium FD3N pickups wired to an onboard Darkglass Tone Capsule 3-band active preamp. Controlled via a 4-position rotary selector switch, you get access to versatile pickup configurations—including bridge-only, bridge plus middle in series, middle and neck, or neck-only—allowing you to dial in everything from scooped modern progressive metal punch to tight, warm vintage growl.

Finished in Dingwall’s striking Matte Celestial Blue it looks killer.  The previous owner barely played it, so it's in excellent condition.  The original gig bag is included.  Setup to play perfectly, this bass is ready to dominate the stage or studio.
