This particular guitar was here at Truetone as a new guitar originally.  It went to a long-time customer/collector friend of ours, and is now back again as part of an estate collection.  The guitar appears to have never been played.  It's in fantastic condition and comes with its original hardshell case.  Setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, it's ready to go.

Enjoy its resonant body made with a solid, non-weight-relieved mahogany body topped with a two-piece carved maple cap. Gibson's proprietary Vintage Original Spec (VOS) treatment applies a subtle, hand-rubbed patina to the nitrocellulose lacquer and gently ages the nickel hardware, giving the guitar the look and feel of a well-cared-vintage piece. It delivers massive sustain and woody midrange punch that only a true '57-spec historic build can provide. Featuring a solid mahogany neck carved into the legendary Chunky '50s profile, this is a neck is vintage-style bliss. It fills the hand perfectly,  and with its traditional hot hide glue neck joint, transfers maximum vibration into the body while also providing incredible stability for blues bends and heavy vibrato. The premium, one-piece Indian Rosewood fingerboard is bound to perfection, with a vintage-accurate 12" radius, historic trapezoid inlays, and 22 narrow-tall frets. 

Sonically, this '57 Reissue screams with authentic PAF mojo thanks to a pair of Custombucker Alnico III unpotted pickups. These are Gibson Custom Shop's most historically accurate humbuckers, delivering a remarkable, sweet top-end chime and an articulate low-end definition that never gets muddy. The electronics are hand-wired to perfection with CTS potentiometers and authentic paper-in-oil Bumblebee capacitors, allowing you to dial back the volume and tone knobs without losing any harmonic detail.

Complete with an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, a lightweight aluminum stopbar tailpiece, and Kluson single-line tuners, this Ebony beauty is a professional-grade time machine built for the player who demands the absolute pinnacle of Gibson craftsmanship.
